The rotary drum dryer is a type of industrial dryer employed to reduce or minimize the liquid moisture content of the material it is handling by bringing it into direct contact with a heated gas. rotary drum dryer is suitable to dry metallic and nonmetallic mineral, clay in cement industrial and coal slime in coal mine,etc. rotary drum dryer can be widely used to dry various materials, and it is simple to be operated.

Dryer is widely used for drying humidity or granularity materials in beneficiation, building materials, metallurgy, chemical industry, ect. Dryer can dry bagasse, manure, mineral ores, sawdust, coal powder, slag, clay stone, fertilizer, ect. Dryer can be divided into rotary dryer, triple-drum dryer, indirect heat transfer dryer, ect.

Materials are sent to hopper of rotary drum dryer by belt conveyor or bucket elevator.The barrel is installed with slope to horizontal line. Materials enter the barrel from the higher side, and hot air enters the barrel from the lower side, materials and hot air mix together. Materials go to the lower side by gravity when the barrel rotates. Lifters on the inner side of barrel lift materials up and down to make materials and hot air mix completely. So drying efficiency is improved.
